10 of the Scariest Roblox Games Ever!
Roblox is comprised of user-created experiences, ranging from simulator games, obstacle courses, games based on TV shows, cartoons, and video games. There’s a lot to choose from! And sometimes it can be hard to find a game worth playing.
For those of us who enjoy horror games and thrilling scares, it doesn’t get any better than the scariest Roblox games. Here are 10 games we found that left us wanting more (and shaking in our boots!)
10. Escape Running Head
Half hilarious and half terrifying, Escape Running Head might be a game that haunts your dreams. Featuring a giant head (known as a Felipe Head) you are chased around in a winding maze. If they touch you, you’re dead. If there are enough players in the game, they might distract the Felipe heads while you’re making a run for it. Good luck, because you’ll need it.
Although it might not be the scariest Roblox game ever, there is certainly a bizarre and terrifying quality to the Felipe heads trapping you in a corner. In subsequent levels (9 total so far) the mazes get more complicated, requiring carefully timed jumps, extra giant heads, and lava, among other obstacles. Like any other Roblox experience, there are premium items you can purchase with Robux, but the game doesn’t get any easier as you go on.
9. (Baldi) Granny
I have to give a shout out to (Baldi) Granny – even though it’s not as scary as other legit Granny Roblox games, little kids can play this one without getting super scared. With that being said, this game will still make you jump! In this game, there are a bunch of premium options – you can even play as Baldi! The premise here was to combine the freaky tablet/phone game Baldi with club-wielding Granny, and I think it works.
You’re teamed up with other players to escape Granny’s house – and the puzzles here are tricky! Even a kid-friendly game like this is scary if you play it at 3AM with the lights off. So be careful! And don’t let Baldi Granny sneak up on you.
8. Spider
Spider is a simple Roblox horror game, but it’s a fun one and it still makes me jump whenever I play. The premise is simple – you’re stuck in a cabin while a giant spider chases you! One player is the spider, and everyone else is trying to solve puzzles to finally escape. The Spider can set traps and move more quickly than regular players, so not getting caught can be a challenge.
When the Spider does catch you, it’s pretty gruesome. The part that always makes me jump is when the Spider player enters the same room as you – there is a loud sound effect that you won’t be expecting. The puzzles are the same each time you play, so even though you’re playing with random players each time, you’ll know exactly what to do after a while and it’s not such a challenge. Then again, it’s a lot more fun to play as the Spider!
7. Granny
If you’ve ever looked up scary games on a smartphone or tablet, there’s a good chance Granny came up. Granny was originally a puzzle/horror game where you had to avoid making noise while evading traps, all the while trying to escape Granny’s house. This Roblox version is a little different – there are more characters to chase you, like Grandpa, and you’ve got other players helping you, but it’s just as scary as the original.
I’m not sure what it is about an old lady carrying a spiked bat that’s so scary, but you really don’t want one chasing you from behind. If you’re playing on a tablet, the controls aren’t so great, and that can make it even more tense! Granny is the kind of Roblox horror game that give little kids nightmares. I see you…heh heh heh…
6. Piggy
If you’ve ever looked up scary games on Roblox, you’ve definitely heard of Piggy. I was at the store the other day and I saw a Piggy t-shirt! Arguably one of the most popular Roblox games out there, Piggy is a horror game with new content being added all the time, making it fun to play again and again.
Some players really know what they’re doing! Even though Piggy is randomly chosen, this game can be tough. There are tons of different levels and gameplay modes to choose from, so this game can be hard to put down. At the same time, some players will leave right away if they’re not piggy – so it’s a good idea to invite a friend or two to play this one.
5. Slender
I was never a big fan of the Slenderman when it first stared showing up online, he just didn’t seem that scary! However, he is super freaky in this Roblox horror game Slender. He moves freakishly fast! You won’t have time to think as you dart around trying to get away from him.
It’s a good thing there are lots of other players that join you in this game – hopefully he’ll catch them instead of you. Did I mention that Slenderman kills you in one hit? There’s a lot of trial and error in this Roblox game, and you can get far once you know what you’re doing, but it’s quite scary when Slenderman pops up out of nowhere.
4. Cartoon Cat Survival
Cartoon Dog, Cartoon Cat, Cartoon Rat – there are a whole bunch of horror cartoon animals these days. This Roblox horror game features the very messed-up, bloody and murderous Cartoon Cat. The object of this game is to explore and find a way out of the mine that Cartoon Cat is wandering in. There are weapons you can pick up and use to fight (although I think they’re premium items you’ll need to purchase with Robux) or you can try a find a way out of the winding maze. Either way, there is something about Cartoon Cat that just plain creeps me out!
3. Siren Head: Legacy Edition
Siren head is one of the freakiest monsters you’ll hear about – and you’ll hear him coming after you from a mile away. This newer monster is super popular right now and there are a ton of Roblox games with Siren Head in them. I picked this scary Siren Head Roblox game in particular is because Siren Head is to scale – and he’ll pick you up and eat you!
Really though, it’s pretty cool that this game is in first-person and all the of the players have to work together fighting Siren Head. It’s different than your average Roblox horror game, that’s for sure, and it’s especially scary. Enjoy!
2. Teletubbies: The Red Monster teletubby
I didn’t think I’d feature a Teletubbies game, but after I played this scary Teletubbies Roblox game, I have to, because this game is messed up.
The landscape is barren, other players are running for the hills, but once you see it – or them, you’ll know. These teletubbies move in the creepiest way, and some of them move fast! They’ll kill you in one hit, and at this point, I’m not even sure if there is a way to fight back. I wouldn’t recommend letting kids play this Roblox game, and I would also give that recommendation for adults. Monsters like zombies and werewolves used to scare me pretty bad, and now Teletubbies do, too. Good luck!
1. Scary Elevator!
Scary Elevator is the top Roblox horror game. Period! It is hands down one of the most popular games on Roblox, if you look it up you’ll most likely find a ton of knock-offs, so make sure you find the right one!
Not many Roblox games get updated or have new content added to them, but Scary Elevator is an exception. In the screenshot above you can see just how many killers (and floors) the game has to offer – with more being added all the time. This is a horror game where you have to avoid Siren Head, Granny, Ghostface, Pennywise and much more – the list goes on and on.
You’re facing a killer (or two) on each level and once you progress things get tougher and tougher. Luckily there are other players to help you along the way, so make sure you invite a friend to play with – just be sure you don’t let any young children play this game. It’s the scariest Roblox game for a reason!
