How to Spoof Pokémon Go: 2021 Working Pokémon Go Hack

Pokémon Fans and newcomers alike have been playing Pokémon Go since 2016 – back when the original 151 Pokédex was only available, the Kanto region. But now there are eight regions available, including the recently added Galar region. Those regions include Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and Alola – all from recent Pokémon releases. Some players have turned to spoofing or using a Pokémon Go hack to catch up on all of the new releases.

Eight Regions to Collect Pokémon from -a daunting task!

With those new regions lots of new Pokémon are available – but it gets tougher and tougher to complete each new Pokédex, because of region exclusives, season changes, spawn changes, and day and night cycles. Every three months, a season change causes certain Pokémon to appear or disappear. This can be a good thing for new players, but with so many previous Pokédex available to complete, you might not be able to complete one you were trying to. The same goes for spawn changes. Every two weeks, Pokémon nests change, and you’ll come across different Pokémon in Pokémon Go as they migrate to different areas.

Region exclusives are the toughest obstacle to overcome in Pokémon Go – they are geographically based and usually separated by continents. If you’re in North America, you have a very slim chance of getting regional exclusives like Corsola or Heracross by receiving an egg in a gift from a friend that’s in that region. And, even then, the egg would have to hatch the Pokémon you want. Personally, I’ve only had that happen once!

Since the odds of this happening reliably are astronomical, and most Pokémon Go players can’t travel overseas, other players have turned to a Pokémon Go hack known as spoofing to catch these hard-to-get Pokémon. There are pros and cons to this, so we have a few tips for anyone trying to figure out this Pokémon Go hack:

You can get up to three strikes before being banned for spoofing from Niantic – or permabanned with no warnings.

Pokémon Go Hack Warning
This is one warning you don’t want to see in Pokémon Go!

There are a lot of restrictions when it comes to spoofing. For instance, if you use a cheating app like Ianygo or a BlueTooth dongle to fake your GPS location, you could still do everything 100% correct and get flagged by Niantic. The first strike is a 7-day ban, the 2nd strike is a 30-day ban, and the third strike, you’re permanently banned for using a Pokémon Go hack. Some users have reported being permabanned without prior warnings as well, so use them at your own risk – don’t use an account that you can’t afford to lose.

Spoofing requires a cool-down period where you can’t travel to other regions faster than humanly possible.

By using a VPN like NordVPN or ExpressVPN, Pokémon Go users can make it appear like they’re on the otherside of the globe. This is a neat trick for spoofing your location in Pokémon Go, but at the same time, if you’re switching between locations that quickly, Niantic can tell and you won’t even be able to catch any Pokémon – because of a cool-down period. Although spoofing seems straightforward, there are a lot of nuances you might need to be aware of, a good place to read up on these can be found on Reddit.

With many different methods available, some exploits are easier to use than others. There are GPS spoofing apps that require a jail-broken iPhone.

Jailbreaking your iPhone can be complicated and you can actually brick your iPhone if you do incorrectly. Also, when you jailbreak your phone you can void your warranty – so if you choose to do it, you need to be careful.

There is a Pokémon Go hack that can adds a D-pad to your screen, like Fake GPS Pro, so you can move your character around manually. This can help with getting walking kilometers for hatching eggs, or if you notice a needed Pokémon nearby. There are specific location spoofing hacks like Signulous, maybe the most popular spoofing app, where you can enter longitude and latitude coordinates and go anywhere around the globe.

Region exclusives can be traded from other trainers – reach out to Pokémon Go Facebook Groups in your local area. You can get invites to international raids on sites like Reddit, too.

Some players in your nearby area might already have region exclusives they’re willing to trade. Trading can only be done from 100 meters away, so you almost always have to trade locally. I’ve had success with trading Pokémon I’ve needed locally, and I was able to find traders on a local FB group in my area – I suggest you try the same!

It can be hard to get enough players in a five-star raid as well, and I would definitely recommend a subreddit like /r/pokemongofriends or /r/pokemongoraids. You can get invites to difficult five-star raids immediately and you can go back again and again (depending on how many remote raid passes you have) if you’re having trouble catching a legendary.

While it’s super risky, using a Pokémon Go hack can be a lot of fun

By transporting your character to a metropolitan area like New York City or Tokyo, you can find tons of new Pokémon Go stops, raids, and gyms. Most of these Pokémon stops are always lured with tons of Pokémon spawning.

There have been one or two times where Niantic made regional exclusives available to other regions, but it’s not something you can count on. So if you do decide to spoof your GPS location with an app or a jail-broken iPhone, just be careful! If you get a warning from Niantic, play it safe and take a break from any kind of spoofing.
